Dr Rebecca Graham


General and Old Age Psychiatrist

Dr Rebecca Graham is a locally trained general and old age psychiatrist who has special interests in memory and capacity assessment, dementia, mood disorders and psychotic illness.  She has a passion for biopsychosocial assessment and management, with a focus on family involvement in patient care.  Rebecca undertook her psychogeriatric advanced training through the Victorian Old Age Psychiatry formal education course in addition to her general psychiatry training in the South of Tasmania.  As part of this training, she completed novel research on delirium at the Royal Hobart Hospital. During her training she was involved in trainee advocacy and education, holding the office of Chair of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) Trainee Representative Committee, and presenting on this topic at past RANZCP annual congresses.   Rebecca is also involved in undergraduate medical teaching at the University of Tasmania in psychiatry and aged care.
