Psychologist

Chloe Stoneis a registered psychologist who completed her training at the University of Melbourne and Monash University. She has worked across private clinics and neuropsychiatry treatment settings, supporting children, adolescents, and adults. She has a particular interest in working with neurodiverse people and those living with persistent or complex mental health difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, school refusal, learning differences, and sleep concerns.
Chloe has experience in neuro developmental assessment for ADHD, autism, learning disorders, and intellectual disability, and takes a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed approach. She has also worked in neuromodulation settings using transcranial magnetic stimulation and transcranial direct current stimulation with individuals experiencing depression that has not responded to other treatments. In addition, she is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia and has a strong interest in the connection between sleep and emotional wellbeing. Chloe is currently studying medicine alongside her clinical practice and is interested in the meeting point between psychological and medical care.
Chloe offers a calm, thoughtful, and supportive space. She understands that beginning therapy can feel daunting and aims for clients to feel genuinely listened to and respected from the very first session. She works in a warm and collaborative way, placing strong importance on building a real and trusting relationship. Rather than seeing people as problems to be fixed, she focuses on getting to know each person’s story, strengths, and values.
A central part of Chloe’s work involves checking in together about how therapy is feeling and whether it is meeting your needs. Sessions are shaped over time in a way that feels meaningful and useful. Her approach is grounded in humanistic and narrative traditions, and she also draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, somatic-informed approaches, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia where helpful.
With neurodiverse clients and with children, Chloe may use play-based or creative approaches when this feels appropriate. Across all ages, her focus is on helping people make sense of their experiences, reconnect with what matters most to them, develop a kinder relationship with themselves, and find steadier ground during challenging periods.
