Daniel Moore is a Registered Clinical Psychologist andMember of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Daniel is experienced in treating adults with anxiety disorders, stress, sleep problems, mood disorders,trauma, substance use disorders and personality vulnerabilities.
Daniel has a friendly and warm style and uses a variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) to help people to improve and better manage their mental health and work towards their goals.
Daniel has worked as a psychologist in both the private and public sector and provided individuals assistance via employee assistance programs. Daniel has experience working in both public and private mental health units, addiction services, and working with medical patients at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Daniel is a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor for the supervision of trainee psychologists and registered psychologists seeking to complete the Clinical registrar program.
Daniel came to Tasmania in 2012 to complete his postgraduate training in psychology. He quickly fell in love with Tasmania and decided to stay. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys bushwalking and participating in Tasmanian running events.
