PSYCHOLOGIST
Jessie brings respect, warmth,empathy, and a holistic lens to therapy; she is considerate of your past experiences and overall well-being. Her goal is to create a safe space where you can express yourself freely. Jessie combines humour and kindness to foster a trusting, non-judgmental connection with her clients, collaborating to tailor treatment plans that address their unique needs and lead towards improved well-being.
Jessie has worked across various sectors, including education, youth, disability, mental health, forensics, family violence services, as well as international non-profit agencies. She provides support to individuals of all ages confronting various challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, BPD, neurodiversity, trauma, grief and loss, substance use, stress, life transitions, and relationship concerns.
Jessie uses evidence-based methods such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, IPT, EFT, DBT, Somatic Experiencing, Schema Therapy, IFS, and neuro-affirming interventions. She also conducts cognitive assessments and other assessments to better understand her clients' needs.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with animals, nature, gardening, and pursuing art projects.
